First-run setup

Choose a local AI model and finish setup on macOS or Windows.

Finish setup once so Finipher can process documents on your computer.

Steps

  1. Open Finipher.
  2. Sign in with the same email from finipher.com.
  3. Review the model choices.
  4. Choose the recommended model for your memory.
  5. Start the model download.
  6. Keep the app open until setup finishes.

On a Mac

The setup wizard downloads the local model and the tools Finipher needs under Application Support.

On Windows

The setup wizard prepares the local model and tools under your AppData Finipher folder.

Beta

Setup can take time during beta. The app may look busy while a large model downloads.

You'll know it worked when

Finipher opens to the main app and Settings shows the local model as ready.

If this doesn't work

Use Fix: setup stuck. If your computer has low memory, choose a smaller model.
