Phone: what it is
Choose This phone on its own, or keep the phone alongside your computer.
The phone app has two modes. They show the same kinds of findings. They differ in which computer does the reading.
This phone on its own
Photograph or upload statements here. A private Finipher service reads them after you tap Process documents. No computer is required. It starts on Finipher Private Cloud. You can change the location in Settings. Switching modes never moves documents.
Alongside my computer
Your Mac or PC does the reading. This phone shows Today, Actions, Spending, and reminders. You can send a sealed statement for the computer to read later. Finipher cannot open that sealed file.

What both share
Sign in with the same email. You can change the mode later in Settings.
You'll know it worked when
Today shows a briefing, and the mode label matches the choice you made.
If this doesn't work
If you expected uploads on the phone but the app tells you to open your computer, you are in Companion Mode. Switch in Settings, or see Fix: phone empty or wrong account.
